Cherry Pie II

¼ C sugar
⅓ C corn starch
1 C cherry juice blend
4 C cherries, pitted thawed
½ tsp

cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp almond extract

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a saucepan, combine sugar and the cornstarch. Gradually stir in the cherry juice until no lumps. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thick (about 2 minuets).

Remove from heat.

Add cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg and extract.

Add to pie. Cook at 425 for 10 minutes then 375 for 45 to 50 minutes.
